Preventing Moisture Contamination in Screw Compressors with VDOPS

An energy company from the Gulf Coast contacted us regarding an issue with their screw compressor. They were experiencing moisture contamination in the lube oil, likely caused by process gases leaking into the system. This posed a significant concern, as excess moisture can lead to equipment damage and operational inefficiencies.


To address the problem, we provided our Vacuum Dehydration Oil Purification System (VDOPS), which effectively removes moisture from the lube oil and helps maintain optimal oil quality. Given that this application was in a hazardous environment, we supplied a unit specifically rated for Class 1, Division 2 Hazardous Locations, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
